Day 1

We depart quite early and head North as we travel straight to our hotel in Drymen. We should arrive with enough time to check in, adjust to our new surroundings and get ready before evening dinner.

Day 2

A full day excursion to the enchanting city Edinburgh. This beautiful city has a diverse range of attractions from Dynamic Earth and Edinburgh Castle to the Camera Obscura and Royal Yacht Britannia, you are in for a perfect time.

Day 3

This morning we enjoy a 1 hour cruise on Loch Lomond which offers the opportunity to experience the serenity of the 'bonnie banks' from the comfort of a fine vessel as we take in the northern, more scenic fjord-like end of Loch Lomond. The cruise sails past the lands of Colquhouns and McGregors, as well as the ruined strongholds of the McFarlanes making for an unforgettable cruise. After a short spell in the delightful little village of Luss which lies just south of the mouth of Glen Luss on the western shore of Loch Lomond, we continue to Inverary where we spend the afternoon. Welcome to Inveraray & district where you will find the very best of Scotland. It is the traditional county town of Argyll and ancestral home of the Duke of Argyll, who founded the town in 1745, alongside his new dwelling, Inveraray Castle. Day 4

A half day excursion to Glasgow one of the liveliest and most cosmopolitan destinations in Europe. The city has been reborn as a centre of style and vitality set against a backdrop of outstanding Victorian architecture.
An afternoon at the New Lanark World Heritage Centre, an award winning Visitor Centre that is beautifully restored 18th century cotton mill village nestled in the spectacular south Lanarkshire valley in southern Scotland, close to the Falls of Clyde

After breakfast we say farewell to our hosts in Drymen and begin the journey home towards North Wales.
